New businesses can register online. Successful registration will generate your 8 digit withholding account number.
Unemployment Account Number
New businesses can register online here.
Unemployment Contribution Rate
Your rate will be provided to you on your Notice of Contribution Rate mailed by the Department of Labor.
How to locate these numbers if you’re already registered:
- Your Withholding Account Number can be found by accessing the online portal. It is also on any previously filed Quarterly Withholding Tax Return (941ME).
- Your Unemployment Account Number will be located on the Contribution Rate notice mailed by the Department of Labor each year.
