Nevada Payroll Guide

There are 2 required tax items you’ll need in order to get setup for payroll. 

How to register: 

Account Number and Modified Business Tax Account Number

New businesses can register online with the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation (DETR) to get your Nevada Account Number and MBT Account Number. Both numbers will be mailed to you after successful registration.

How to locate these numbers if you’re already registered: 

• Your Account Number can be found by logging into your DETR account here.

• Your MBT Account Number will be located in the Welcome Package you received upon registration.
